Warner Bros. Discovery is set to expand its global footprint by launching its streaming platform, Max, in seven Asian markets on November 19, 2025. This move will increase the platform’s availability to over 72 markets worldwide.
The new rollout will bring a wide range of premium content to audiences in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Subscribers in these regions will gain access to top entertainment from world-renowned brands, including HBO, Discovery, the DC Universe, Harry Potter, and Cartoon Network.
This expansion follows the company’s recent success, where it projected an addition of over 6 million new subscribers to Max in the third quarter of the year.
Max was reintroduced in May 2023 with an enhanced lineup of content and has already extended its reach into Europe. The service features a rich mix of shows and films from HBO, HGTV, the Food Network, the Discovery Channel, and other popular networks.
With its growing library and international reach, Max continues to strengthen its position in the competitive streaming market.
